Question by Snegurochko: What is a good book about the life and execution of the Romanov family?
I am obsessed with Russian history and this is something that has always been of interest to me, I was just knowing if anybody knew of a good book that could inform me more of the life and execution of the Romanov family. Thank you so much for your time!

‘Nicholas and Alexandra’ by Robert K. Massie is the best I’ve read.

Also try, specifically for the executions, Fate of The Romanovs by Greg King and Penny Wilson. This is good for the simple facts of the executions, but be a little wary of some of the commentary. Fortunately they give full sources and refences and lay out all the evidence they have so you can make you own conclusions (their own can be a bit odd at times). The Massie book is good for the life of the Romanoffs, but the execution details were based on the wild rumours of the civil war period and is somewhat misleading.
