Are there developed areas and a lot of people living in Siberia?

Question by mg: Are there developed areas and a lot of people living in Siberia today?
Do Russians actually live there or is it still indigenous people? Is it nice there? is it safe?

I’m Russian and live in Siberia. There are 1 200 000 people in my city. There also are other big cities, lots of people live in Siberia.
Climate here is continental. It’s about as safe as in European Russia areas.
No bears or wolfs in the streets if that’s what you were asking about. 🙂
