Question by Ruthie S: Are there any non-alcoholic russian drinks I could make?
I need to make a russian drink for a cultural themed party for teenagers. Everything I’ve googled seems to be alcoholic. Does anyone know any non-alcoholic russian drinks I could make?
I’m supposed to bring drinks and not food.

Try makeing the drinks you found that were alcoholic but without the alcoholic…. or try a different dish, like Russian kashas! That is my favorite! I have found a good website for russian food senice ive been ubsesed with it ever sence ive read the vampire acadmey….

Does this need to be drinks or can you provide food or some other edible treat? Otherwise, in terms of drinks that Russians would consume I would think that Kefir, pomegrante juice, cranberry juice or something at least with a Russian label from any local Russian or Ukrainian food store. Kids might think the Kefir is gross, though. You can get Russian candies or something else. I live in the Boston area and we have several Russian stores. Hopefully, you do, too. Or just lie and make some fruit punch, add secret ingredients, like fresh squeezed orange or grapefruit and call it's Russian punch. You're doing the right thing by not serving the kids vodka, so don't feel bad about substituting V8 Twister or Ocean Spray blueberry-cranberry for "Russian punch" Babushka Old Recipe. Just put it in a home container and hide the Ocean spray bottle. Will anybody know or care?
