Question by Andy O: Can I enter Belarus on my Russian Visa as a UK citizen?
I’m in St.Petersburg right now and I’m heading to Moscow in a few days then on to Kyiv, but I had the last minute idea that maybe heading to Minsk for a few days would be cool. I don’t have time to apply for a Belarusian Visa, but I know its a CIS country and that on my ‘exit’ document it specifies both the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus. Any suggestions on where to find this out?

No, you can’t enter belarus on russian visa. You can get belorussian visa in Minsk airport upon arrival if you have invitation and a photo on hands (maybe some more documents will be required, check with belarus embassy).

They are two seperate countries, and personally i would suggest that your time is better spent in Kiev anyway.
