Best vodka to use in jello shots?

Question by crazymusicbeauty: What is the best vodka to use in jello shots?
My best friend’s birthday is Saturday and I’m throwing her a party. Her favorite type of alcohol is vodka and I need to know the best and most cost efficient brand of vodka.

lots of it.

for the real answer, the better the vodka the less it taste like rubbing alcohol. also you could probably use flavored vodka that is either the same or a complimenting flavor to the type of jello you are using.

If you aren’t breaking the jello shots out until after everyone has had a couple of drinks, i would use the cheapest stuff you can find because no one will really be able to tell the difference

Why does it matter? It's going in Jello, it's not like you can taste it.

"Best" and "cost efficient" are antonyms when it comes to liquor. The best is the most expensive.

Sounds like you're wanting cheap. In that case, buy whatever is cheapest. That usually means plastic bottle, bottom shelf. If you're buying cheap vodka, it doesn't matter what brand it is.

Don't go with the cheapest stuff but for mixed drinks go middle of the line – lower end.

Thing is you cant really taste the vodka when mixed so you don't need the high end stuff, but at the same time if you go too cheap you WILL notice the difference….and it won't be a good one lol
