Question by Zaamii: Did a German truck driver reach Moscow in WW2?
Somebody I know told me that in WW2 a German truck driver was driving a truck, but was so focused on the road, he didn’t notice driving past his destination and through Soviet Lines, eventually reaching Moscow.
Is this true? Or is it total BS.

On 12/2/1941 a German investigation crew of tank battalion company 62 reached Chimki, suburb of Moscow, 5 miles before the city limit. That was the closest point Germans ever reached and Moscow was very well defended and had a lot of road blocks.
People like us, who once lived in glass houses, shouldn’t throw stones. But this is complete BS
