Question by nvk: Could the (long term) health of people in Moscow have been affected by the Chernobyl disaster?
Could people in Moscow have been subject to the radioactivity caused by the Chernobyl explosion? I mean could some people living in Moscow that time develop some diseases (cancer etc.) now or 10 or 20 years from now because of that. Although no one can prove how one gets the cancer, scientifically is it possible?
