Did Joseph Stalin have a daughter with his maid?

Question by : Did Stalin have a daughter with his maid?
I read somewhere in a gossip russian newspaper that Stalin had a relationship with his maid Valentina, who was like really younger than him. Anyways it went on to say that after he died she bore him a daughter. So I want to know if anyone has any info on that or any proof.

Morgan,
anything is possible. I have only read a couple of books on Stalin and many in which he was a part of the Allied cause against the Nazis. With all of the dachas he had and the traveling he did inside of the USSR this seems plausible. You likely know of his daughter in Wisconsin I am including a link on her here. Her mother comitted suicide and she (Svetlana) defected to the west in 1967.

Best of luck,
Gerry D.

No he didn't. He had three children by his two wives and at least two illegitimate children when he was an underground revolutionary. I can find no reference to him having a maid called Valentina, nor to him having a child by one of his household staff.
    Legitimate children:
By 'Ekaterina (known as Kato) Svanidze – Yakov (known as Yasha)
By Nadezhda (known as Nadya) Aliluyeva – Vasily & Svetlana

    Illegitimate children:
    By Maria Kuzakova – Konstantin
    By Lidia Pereprygina – Alexander

As far as I can discover, he never met these two children, but he did protect them and their mothers.
