During WWII, Did the soviets tattoo prisoners entering the Gulag labor camps with a number like the Nazis did? What was the method for keeping track of their prisoners? And was there anything that visually set these prisoners apart from everyone else? Please help. Thanks

In a word, no. The Soviet system was not nearly as efficient as the Nazis. Of course, the Nazis had IBM working for them, so it’s no wonder they had such effieciency.

The prisoners were the gaunt ones dying from starvation, exposure, abuse and overwork.

Tatoos were superfluous under those conditions

No Jews were tatooed by the Nazis, that is a hoax that the Jews would like you to believe.
