Question by Nonsense: Do Dostoevsky’s intense Christian themes sometimes make his stories unappealing?

It’s really just a matter of personal preference. I am an atheist but I still enjoy Dostoevsky. This is because my personal views do not conflict with my literary appreciation for themes and literary devices.
Aside from Christian themes, his work is imbued with personal, introspective struggle, which is something all humans can relate to, regardless of their religious affiliation.

I always laugh when you ask questions with "Do they?" as the details.
Honestly…yes.
But really, any book with a Christian theme turns me off.
