okay where do i begin lol
husky do better in the cold because thats what they were bred for. Northeastern Siberia one of the most extreme climates in the world, where winter temp plummet to more than _100F (_73.3)C and winds howl at more than 100 mph (160.9 kmh) The chukchi tribe are the ones who breed this dog for the purpose to help the tribes subsistence and culture of life. They needed a dog who could pull a light ot moderately heavy load quickly and over long distances, while using very little energy and reguireing very little food. Since these loads needed to be pulled during extreme cold temperatures for an extended period of time they needed a dog that could use very little energy while pulling so they could use more engery handling the exposure to the colds. Not only were they breed to handle the cold but to help with intelligence and indpendent thinking to read danger signs of cracks in the ice and dnagerous routes. Now for the dog to be able to with stand the cold is because the coat is a double coat. There fur has a soft undercoat supporting a coarse but smooth lying outer coat. So even tho they can live in warm climates, they must be cooled off, water, ac etc. and can not be runned for long period of times for the fur they have will overheat them.

cold duh. i siberian can die of heat exhaustion if it's out if hot weather for too long. i know i have a husky and i spent a whole summer nursing her back to health because she was out in the sun for too long. she almost died they definatly need the cold
Isis says
Cold… They are typicaly sled dogs so i think it's kind of obvious. They can stand the heat as they'll shed out the undercoat to adapt to it, but they won't be comfortable in the least. Check out a breed info site or your library.

they do better in cold climates
Ellis48 says
cold usually. this is because their coat has thick, long hair used to keep them dry. underneath, they have hollow, thin hairs which act as insulators. these keep the dog warm. in fact, it keeps them so warm that their blood is cooled in their paws to stop them becoming overheated. so in cold climates they don't have as much trouble being warm. for this reason Siberian huskies run much faster at night or in winter.

Cold, obviously.
Apart from that though, go check out a book from the library to get credible sources.
