Question by Devilishly Sexy MasterMinD: For how long can Abramovich keep Chelsea FC ?
I hear he’s lost around 20 billion dollars with the stock market turmoil….
With all the expensive wages and burden of new contracts and maintenance that comes with owning an extravagant club like Chelsea, can Abramovich stay at the helm for the future seasons?
Or is he going to sell his share and get lost?

Abramovich will keep Chelsea until five years after he’s made Chelsea the greatest team in the world.

CFC[IS]Ballack says
He hasn't lost 20 billion….
Some oil company in Saudi wanted to sue him for 2.5 Billion because he owns 50% of there oil field but they want to buy him out because of the credit crunch
but they failed on there 2.5 Billion claim so he still owns 50% of that oil field and company
so i reckon he'l be with Chelsea for a few years yet to come

Abramovich is absolutely loaded you know that right? And for all the people that say we're trying to buy titles and etc. Isn't that what all clubs are trying to do? Buy the best players they can so they can do as well as possible in all the competitions?

oh i think he'll be fine.
don't imagine that his wage bill is much different to a lot of top clubs.
people have been saying that he would sell since he bought the club. he has owned it at least 5 years, so its not short term.
