Question by melischka_merisa: What are good books on the Romanov family?
I am doing a research paper on the Romanov’s for one of my classes, and I am really strugling to find good books on the family, and alot of the searches I have done online have proven fruitless. Anyone reccomend some good titles that I would be able to get alot of info off of? Serious answers please, thank you!

Nicholas and Alexandra – for the life of the last tsar
There should be tons of information on the Romanovs, any book on Russian history will have lots. Check the biography section for individual rulers.

You might want to modify your search to include "unsolved Russian conspiracy theories". I suggest this because the entire family was killed in order to destroy the royal throne. All of the heirs and heiresses to the throne were killed, even small children. It forced what was left of the Romanov family to go into hiding into the mountains. Eventually the bad guys found them and killed them. Some believe this was the event that began the fall of Russia. Also, look up :"Russia's Last Czar".
