There are tons of nightlife spots but it all depends what your taste and preferences are.
There is a glamorous place called “Malinki”, which packs all the silicone, dolce & gabbana, and hair gel a person can handle. It’s a fun place but they have a face control before they let you in.
There is an awesome everything goes bar/clubs “Mod Club‎” and “A3” on Konnuschennaya Ploschad next to Church of the Savior on Blood (must see). There is a cult nightclub called Griboedov, which could be fun depending on the day of your visit. Honestly, there are tons of places in the city that are enjoyable.

I am not sure how many days you have to spend there but the Top 5 Must-See attractions are:
– Hermitage
– Church of the Savior on Blood
– Russian Museum (great collection of art)
– Saint Isaac’s Cathedral (get extra tickets to go to the top on Colonnade, great city view)
– Petergof (Russian Versailles)
