Question by Vlad: import a car to Russia from USA?
I am trying to import a car into Russia by a request from a costumer i am located in California and i am trying to find a guy thats Russian and that can help me ship it and thats done it a lot of times ship the car from California or some where near that location and ship the car over to Vladivostok

your best bet is not to think of it as a car, but rather material. It’s very common to ship a truck load of anything to Russia, andy common carrier can tell you the best company in your area. That way you can ship it straight to Vladivostok. It will be picked up at your location, put on railcar to probably New Jersey, and then on a shipp to a Russian port, from there transported usually by tain to it’s final destination. Travel time should be about 2 months unless it gets held up in customs. Some be sure your paperwork is accurate.

My son is in the military and he just shipped his Mustang to Japan, it was simple and not that expensive, I think he said the total was $ 1,700. I don't know the name of the company, but he found them on the internet, so just google "shipping cars overseas", that's all he did and he got it there with no trouble.
