Question by : Has Rachmaninoff’s 2nd piano concerto been made into a piano solo?
I absolutely love this song and would greatly enjoy playing it as a piano solo. Is there anywhere that offers this song as a piano solo? Thanks!
To Cantibrigian:
I am advanced enough to play this solo. Please don’t assume my playing ability based on a word I might have said.

Generally speaking there have been piano scores written for the instrument of most orchestral works. I imagine there is a simplified piano version out there somewhere.

It’s published as a two-piano arrangement, with one part being the solo and the other a reduction of the orchestral parts. Both parts (especially the solo part, of course) are at a very advanced level.
If you’re anywhere near good enough to play this piece, you should surely be aware that it’s not a “song”.

There is a two-piano version knocking about somewhere, which is brilliant – although there probably would be a solo version online somewhere, it just won’t be anywhere near as good as a two-piano transcription or indeed the original thing.
