You can take a taxi or a bus and get to the nearest underground station. And then by underground you can get anywhere you want in moscow. And public transport is quite safe in Russia

it as safe as in any country but my recommendation's to try and blend in and do not take to much luggage and about the metro it a wonder to see and one of the best in the world even the people from the London metro went to Moscow to try and learn how they ran it so well a few years ago

it's safe, but try not to talk too loud and not to wave your money around – that't not safe anywhere in the world 🙂

a taxi would cost you around $ 100, a bus or a so-called route taxi (a usually yellow mini van) will cost about 2 dollars and will take you to the nearest metro station (about 20-30 minute ride). From there it will take you about half an hour to get to the Red Square.

    Hope you like you trip!
