did you buy it from Century Arms International? if so you probably just need to reassemble the trigger group. CAI is known to not properly reassemble guns for sale. they have to make mods to the gun prior to sale for 922 compliance, but often times they don't do a good job.

If you have an Egyptian Maadi you may have trouble with it. Any other countries AKs should be fine. If I remember right 23 or 24 countries made them!
