Question by Alexandra: How did Bloody Sunday help lead to the downfall of the Romanov Dynasty under Nicolas II?
i’m doing a report and i’m having a little bit of a hard time understanding the websites so if someone could tell me a little about it, not just copying and pasting, haha, thanks so much!

The Bolsheviks, under Vladimir Lenin’s rule, took the Romanov family and shot them all.
Lenin was becoming a strong political power in Russia, adopting Marxist ideas. Tsar Nicolas II abdicated the throne in 1918, at the fear of Lenin growing too strong. All the Romanovs were murdered, and there is a grave containing the family’s bodies.
There was then an impersonator, Anna Anderson, who claimed to be the Princess Anastasia. Anna Anderson had mental problems. But that’s a different story… Haha
