Question by life: How did globalization affect the fall of the soviet union?
Please help, i’m doing a case study on a country that has benefited from globalisation, and i decided to choose the fall of the soviet union.
When i work out how, I will give 10 points for best answer!

If you look at economic systems around the world, countries that have capitalism (often a byproduct of globalization) have democratic (in some form or another) governments. Countries without capitalistic markets find it much easier to have socialist or other alternative forms of governments. Although Russia doesn’t have a legitimate democracy, globalization helped open up the country to progress.
