Question by <3!: How did Joseph Stalin influence the world beyond Russia?

But does anyone know where i can at least find information about how Stalin influenced places beyond Russia?

try looking for stalin-comunism connection. russia isn’t the only country that had that political system, and i think that could be the best way to show not only stalin’s influence, but his politics’s aswell..

There are many international consequences but they are obvious (influence of Comintern; establishing the socialist camp and the origins of the Cold War etc.). The one that is not and often played down is that the Stalin's Soviet Union was ALWAYS an example for the Western politicians of what might happen if they would disregard the social issues and carry on with the "pure" capitalism. It was one of the incentives for introducing the elements of the welfare system.
P.S. If you had an access to JSTOR you would find there a lot of materials on the issue…
