Question by Al: How do I type in a Russian Accent?
I RP a lot and liked to make my Russian characters more realistic, ha the word realistic and RP are in the same sentence.
Anyway, also I’d like to know how to speak with a Russian accent and reading one is better then flying to Russia. Along with spending money on software for learning Russian.
I know there might be somethings that are common between a Russian Accent and a German accent but I know there are also very large differences. If anyone could help, please do.

Typically, Russians don’t use articles (the, a), so leave those out. Many omit the verb “to be” altogether…

I think Vlad in the new version of Horton Hear’s a Who could be a good example too.

Do a search for "Russian accent" on Youtube and take your pick. Then write it the way it sounds to you. This guy seems to have the male accent pretty well down:
I would avoid the stereotyped Boris and Natasha cartoon accents (like "dollink" for darling). It really doesn't sound authentic.

The good russian speaker is Vlad in Anastasia cartoon. Russians also may change the order of words in sentences. E.g. I wanted to tell how she in the camp with guys burned the bonfire. To speak with russian accent speak with open mouth, say a natural "s" instead of "th". Confuse "v" and "w" sounds.
Russians have no rules for the order of adjectives (you can say:my rubber orange little ball).
