Question by vsc: How to buy stocks at Moscow Stock Exchange?
There are several Russian companies I am looking to invest in and they are primarily listed with Moscow Stock Exchange. How can I buy their shares? Can I do it using Scottrade?

Contact the MSE at [email protected] or [email protected] and ask them what American Stock Brokerage firms are members of their exchange. You will probably be able to buy only through those members.

You can call the New York office of Alfa Bank, RenCap, Morgan Stanley, Unicredit or UBS and tell them you want to buy MICEX or RTS listed shares. Any of these can help you accomplish.

You need a brokerage account.
You cannot use Scottrade to buy Russian Stocks.
