How do you eat Russian soup borscht?

Question by Allie: How do you eat borscht?
Out of curiosity, I bought gold’s borscht. how do i eat it, warm or cold? i googled images of borscht and there is white stuff on it, what is it, yogurt?

The white stuff is sour cream. You could sub yoghurt if you wanted to.

Hot or cold: your choice. I prefer it cold.

    You can eat it either way, but I prefer it warm, especially in the winter. The white stuff is sour cream, which is a delicious accompaniment. You can use plain yogurt, too.
