How much are psychiatrists paid in Moscow, Russia?

Question by George B: How much do psychiatrist’s get paid in Moscow, Russia?
Hello, i have been learning Russian now for about 1-2 years now and hope to take it to a further level im really fascinated by the economy etc. I would like to study medicine in the future and go on to be a pyschiatrist in the future…does anyone know how much a psychiatrist gets paid in Moscow, Private and in the national health care…

    You should study medicine instead, you'll earn a lot more. I don't know how much psychiatrists get paid in Russia, but anyone with a medical degree will get a lot of money and respect.

    I honestly don't think they would have a lot of patients. The Russians I know think that medicine is bad, and that going to a shrink is crazy – you should work hard, party hard, keep your emotions to yourself and be glad to be alive.
    The Russians I know would never go to a psychiatrist.
