The USSR built approximately around 75 million AK47’s, due to the communist government all factories where state owned, with the vast resources and huge population production would of been incredibly cheap. I’m not sure if anybody truly knows the answer to your question the soviet union was very secretive and I don’t think any solid paperwork would of survived.

The Soviet Union stopped manufacturing AK47’s in 1959 and then the Kalashnikov company went out of business they originally patented the design but over the years military regimes have been building cheap copies, in some places in africa a standard $ 30 and I have heard as low only three or four dollars each, all cheap copies just as revolutionary as the original. For a standard legal AK47 in a country where an fully automatic firearm is legal it should be around $ 350.
