Question by DIJANA M: How much is preban aks ( ak47) polytech 223 worth these days?
I have that particular polytech stated above but do not have the stuff that came with it like the magazines. I do have the box. I am selling it and just wondering what is the value of it these days. I am hoping around 1000 bucks. Thanks

Just remember, the ban is over(at least the federal one, your state may vary), so pre-bans don’t hold the weight they used to. Unless your state has imposed one, then I’d ask $ 1000 and see what offers you get.

It doesn't matter that it's preban anymore because the ban has been lifted. In my state a new Romanian made AK goes for about $ 700. I'd say you could get that price or a little better if you sell to a private buyer and not a shop. I'd start at $ 1100 that way you could have some room to work the price down.

For the pair, you might get that. The preban magazines would be worth quite a bit, but I don't know that the rifles are worth any extra since they are pre-ban.
