Question by Jason W: How much should i pay for an ak-47 at a pawn shop?
They have one listed for $ 700 and one for about $ 400. I don’t know much about the market for these rifles or if there’s one design that’s better than another. I think I heard that they haven’t changed much in 50 years. If there’s an expert out there, your help is greatly appreciated

Are you planning on robbing a bank or starting a war. There are very few legitimate reasons for the average person to want an AK-47. That said, you will find that depending on the area, the prices you list are pretty average. You need to google for gun evaluation websites to see which model is better then the other since you give no information about which models are being sold nor what attachments they might have with them.
Google for info on AK-47s, look at what the pictures show, what the information says ,what the comparisons are and that will give you a lot more information then what we can give you here.

How dare anyone ask this man to justify why he needs an assault rifle. The first step to losing our second amendment rights is to make these types of questioning the norm.

Honestly, I have no clue about the marketing for assault rifles. I would imagine you could Google prices. But first I would go to the pawn shop & get EVERY single detail on the gun. Then you could really do some research on those specific guns. As well as find the right pricing.
