1 -3 … depending on whether the shot is actually poured at one ounce per. Also depends on the person's tolerance to alcohol and how long he or she has been drinking.
YOUNG FURIOUS says
a whole gallon. go for it

It actually Varies with each person. Because I knew a girl that was about that weight, and really short, and she could drink a fifth to herself and only be tipsy. And I know a few really big people who are extreme light weights when it comes to drinking…. anything! With me, it takes a good 9 or 10 shots before I am drunk. Which sucks when you are at a party with limited alcohol
dopefish622 says
Not many. My guess is three. Though the answer depends on a few other physiogical factors:
– Is this person male or female? Men typically have a higher tolerence than women do.
– Is this person asian? Many asians lack an enzyeme which helps them metabolize alcohol, so they get drunk very quickly.
– How fit is this person? The better physical condition you're in, the higher your tolerence tends to be.
– Are they drinking on an empty stomach? If they are, they'll get trashed a whole lot sooner. If you are full before drinking, especially if you've eaten something cheesy (pizza is always good) your tolerence will be higher.
– What do you mean by drunk? A little buzzed? A little tipsy? Legal limit? Puking all over the place in grand fashon? Passed out in a pool of their own vomit? To put my previous answer of 3 shots in context, I assumed that by drunk you meant "wobbling around saying lots of stupid stuff while still conscious, before any puking or memory loss would take place that would ruin the evening." My advice is that 110 lbs person should probably not have a forth shot, at least until an hour has passed. Oh yeah, I forgot one thing:
– When was the last time they had a drink? If you drink three shots in a minute, expect to get trashed quick. If you drink one shot per hour, you might not get drunk that night. It all depends on how your body metabolizes alcohol.
Just for your info, these are some general observed trends; they shouldn't be used to predict what will happen in every instance.

I'd say it would depend on the person and his/her tolerance of alcohol.
becky92106 says
Well, that would depend on the person, now wouldn't it?
Supposedly, a person of about 150 lbs, can consume 2 shots of hard alcohol in 1 hour without exceding the average state legal blood alcohol limit.
By drunk, I assume you mean getting a buzz. That has to do with alcohol tolerance and body weight/mass, how quickly you drink, and whether you've eaten anything.
bhav82 says
i'd say 2-3 shots
MitchHellman says
It depends on your definition of "drunk." After as little as two shots, you are legally drunk as far as operating a motor vehicle is concerned in most states.
shake_um says
2 shots in an hour would be .08 BAC. That's legally drunk in the US.
