Question by Brooke Williams: How much water can you add to vodka before it freezes in the freezer?
I drink a little of my boss’s vodka from time to time and replace it with water. He always keeps it cold in the freezer and I want to make sure it won’t freeze and turn into slush or ice. Anyone Know how much water I can add without it freezing ?
He usually buys fifths and gallons.

Well, I believe the water part will freeze, while the alcohol part will not. It won't be a slush either. More separated. The reason I say this is my friend's mom had some strawberry flavored Smirnoff in the freezer, and the strawberry part separated and froze, while the alcohol part did not. I wouldn't take too much…. otherwise it might be obvious when a chunk of ice is floating in his vodka.

Stop doing that. You are ruining his vodka, which is the same vodka you are stealing. (The vodka is now ruined for both of you)
Buy some vodka for yourself and sneak it into work…
