You need to be 18 to buy a semi-automatic AK clone. If you want a fully automatic AK… Talk to the folks at the BATF…

semi auto of full auto, semi auto would be around $ 500 and you would have to be 18, full auto would be around $ 20,000 + $ 200 tax stamp and an extensive background check and you have to be 21

If you got around 30 grand and can wait 8 or so months, you can get a F/A job at 21… (depending on Tennessee state law).
If you want a semi variant, you can get it at 18, like any other semi automatic sporting arm.
Why do you want an AK though? Sloppy combloc junk, assembled by malnourished 10 year old children.
