How the younger generation of Russia view religion?

Question by Fsafasfa S: How are the younger generation of russia view religionn?
I was reading maganize and it was talking about how russia was the only country in the world that has a high population that goes to church and say they belive in god. Espically the younger generaiton I’m wondering if this is true?

Strange. According to statistics, only 17% of Russian regularly attend church.
But with each passing year the number of believers increases.

    To expand on Dmitry and Wayne's excellent answers, the increase is enough that the public school menu's across the country now serve Lenten menus for the 40 days before Easter and 40 days before Christmas.

    The Russian government has committed new support and permits to restore Orthodox churches due to the rapid increase in new believers from the younger generations.

    russians view of religion is more relaxed compared to countries like the usa. i don’t know what the younger generation think. senior citizens are more likely to be religious.

    most are pretty atheistic, many are spiritual but very few religious fanatics

    People do believe in God, but lots of people are still atheists after communistic ideology. There are lots of people coming to church, but not the majority of Russians. Young people who have grown in Christian orthodox families normally continue family traditions. Lots of young people don't bother about religion at all.
