How to get to Siberia from UK?

Question by NAZMUL H: How can I go to Siberia from UK?
Hello, I’m an international masters student, studying in UK. I’m interested to visit Siberia during holiday. So, do I need to apply for a Russian tourist visa? If yes, then is that okay to travel to Siberia or I’ll need any more documents for traveling to Siberia.

I know how to apply for a Russian tourist visa. But I’m confused about traveling to Siberia whether Russian visa is okay to travel Siberia or I’ll need more papers.

I’ll be really so glad if someone can give me the right information. No time wasters please.

Some areas of Sibiria are indeed requiring special permit to enter them.
It has to do with gold mines and closed objects related to military. Sometimes, those areas are really big. Bad news- it’s difficult to figure out in internet which area are those requiring special permit.

Even though I've never been to Siberia as a foreign tourist, I'm absolutely sure that you don't need any additional papers except for a Russian visa, as Siberia is just a part of Russia.
So you just get your visa, go to Moscow or Saint Petersburg or Yekaterinburg (these are the cities where international airports are located) and then take a train or a bus or a plane to get to whatever place i'd like to see.
Those areas Alex K wrote about are actually strategically important objects and even russians need special permisions to visit them. So, if you'd just like to go to usual tourist attractions or big cities – no reason to worry.
