Question by angelnparadise27: Russia- How would they deal with their own urban poverty and others?
Russia’s steady incline on money and use of their abundent natural resourses makes me wonder why they still have so many people in the poverty state. Although the situation their is improving, how will they further progress? (I would like to have a discussion with a citizen of Russia so I can fully understand their economy and their plans on achieving their goals.)

Take a look at the American ghettos in the cities and the Middle of America.
Why would not you discuss the poverty regions in US first, before sticking your nose into another country?

@Transitor F, what a troll. I am doing an assignment on livelihood strategies among the urban poor in Russia, and came accross this post. This person has asked a legitimate question and all you did was make a worthless statement about global poverty. Yes there is poverty in US, but is that suddenly more important than the poverty in Russia?
As to the answer to the question, I do not know. Redistribution of wealth, welfare, increase in the public sector, and equitable treatment are just some generic responses (that also apply to your beloved ghettos and middle america Transitor F) but I think a more indepth look is needed.
