If I visited Vladivostok for 2 weeks how much money should I bring?

Question by nickp: If I visited Vladivostok, Russia for 2 weeks. How much money should I bring for a FUN time???
Minus plane fare, I want my own room, nothing too fancy, but I want my OWN room for 2 weeks. I like to travel and see sights. I like eating local food, buying soevenires, getting new food, going to bars, checking out the local music scene, how much should I need??? I’m not crazy, but I do like to have fun.

Vladivostok is not exaclty like Ibiza or Bangkok to have fun. People who usually opt to visit these faraway places do so for other reasons. It’s on my top-10 list of must-see places and I have researched it a bit. Cheap accomodation can be found, mostly in guest-house or hostel type, which would be my choice, especially to meet other travelers and local people. You can find a relatively decent hotel for about $ 50US in a single room, like at Hotel Morya or Hotel Vladivostok.
