Question by 5 star: When describeing Russia generaly, is it best to call The Russian Federation or just Russia?
I think it should be called The Russian Federation as Russia is also more involved outside it’s borders! LONG LIVE THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION! AND LONG LIVE MISS!

According to the Constitution, both variants are possible. The Russian Federation is more official.

Both will do fine and not the Soviet Union or Soviets for its citizens.
