Question by KhetaAmenti: Do you think its good or bad that Russia has cut off ties to NATO nations?
Russia has announced that it is breaking ties to NATO nations, is it trying to regain control of the old soviet bloc.

I don’t think it matters, cause once McCain wins, McCain and Russia will just nuke it out anyways.

Yes, I have been to Germany and NATO is no friend of PEACE or the major players! The US and Russia need to get rid of NATO and the UN
This cost us too much money just for a debate society and then make them move the UN out of New York to fascist Europe (France) where they can debate all they want but do nothing to further world peace.
Germany and the Euro community will be the next countries to militarize and show their muscles..just watch Russia and Germany!

BAD, we wont be able to keep as close an eye on them AND they are obvioulsy angry and thats not good for anyone. If they are out of NATO than they arent planning to play by the rules imo….

Obviously bad. Russia will try to use fuel as a weapon come winter. Europe will have to negotiate. We in the west should focus on better ties with Russia. China is the biggest threat to peace and we want Russia on our side.

Russia has been selling oil to europe and making lots of money building up it's military. Georgia should have know and did know that anything you take from russia they will take back and then some and still punish you even more for trying. If russian troops just loose less people in a war than who they are fighting still calls it a victory. So georgia is to not expect this when they take or try to take a piece of land with people that would rather be russian citizens than georgian. georgia picked the fight and got what everyone knew they would get. If poland or others make deals with the west and are not occuppied by them so that there is a 100 percent chance the west will help then they are looking for trouble. Everyone knows this so none of this should be a surprise.
As for nato it is a union of countries and they even left us with no help when we have had small troup counts in places and thier treaties and policies even create problems for us so you think they want anything to do with it? I think they are smart to not want to be involved but do not need to cut off all ties. If the smaller countries like georgia would join back with russia some of thier stuff would be a lot better off.

Putin is an old KGB murder and would like the control the soviets had but knows it can never be but he hate the USA who he blames for the downfall of the old USSR. He will do everything in his power to bring us down unless he is eliminated.

BAD, and bad for the U.S. in dealing with this at the same time Al Qeda, IRAN, North Korea, etc… We need a change at our top position and that would be President Obama, PERIOD….

Europe will back down. They don't have the guts to stand up to the bullying of Russia. Putin is determined to put the USSR back together.

pretty stupid on their part,next i hope they kick them out of the g8.and then make georgia part of nato.that ought to piss them off just about right.that alone will send shivers to the kremlin.
