Question by Gandalf: Is it possible to get hold of an Ak47 as a souvenir for display?
It doesn’t have to be operational, perhaps a used one that has jamming issues or something. But who would sell them?

get and FID and buy one. you could probally get one for like 200-500 dollars

You should be able to get ahold of almost any type of weapon out there. If you live in the US. you need to find a class 3 weapons dealer in your state and they will be able to help you. You will also need to check out the gun laws for where you live you can do it online or call the ATF.But be prepared to fill out paper work to get it.

You can get civilian versions in just about any gun store.

most states allow you to own an AK47, operational or otherwise, as long as it isn’t a class 3 weapon (fully auto.)
You can get AK-47s at almost any gun store that is single shot.
