Question by Maria: Lenin’s tomb in Moscow, is it still an attraction open to the public?
In 1988, I visited Moscow, and visited the tomb of Lenin, one of my political, intellectual, and personal heroes. It was a moving experience. Is the great man’s tomb still open to the public? I plan to visit Moscow again next year and want to pass through his tomb again.

His body is still there and maintained but last time I checked it is not open to the general public and is only opened during special events.

Maria, may I humbly suggest you read a bit of Soviet history to clarify the role of this person in it prior to visiting this place again? Maybe you can consider reading something aside of communist approved literature. You may be unpleasantly surprised.

Should be still open to the public.
But make sure you check the opening days / hours before the visit.
