Question by Steven: is there a different style for the ak47 magazine they sell anywhere?
i just think the mag style sucks and if they dont sell different types?? and do you guys recommend steel or polymer magz ? thanks i have a saiga ak

Saiga rifles use a magazine designed specifically for Saigas. This keeps people from using the cheaper high capacity AK magazines to appease the then Clintonistas who were trying to demonize “assault weapons”.
They polymer mags are much more reliable.

I recently purchased a 30rd mag. for a Saiga by SGM Tactical (formerly Surefire) and it works good. Yes,Saigas are different and counts as (3) under 922r so watch the points in California especially. You must have 10 points to be compliant.
