There are several ways to say "no" in Russian. I will explain the difference between these variants on the examples. If you want to make your verb negative you should say "не" before the verb. For example if you want to say "I don't want to eat" it will be "Я(I) НЕ[nye] хочу(want) есть(eat)"
If somebody asks you "Do you want to eat?" you should answer "Нет"[nyet]. Sometimes you can hear "неа"[nyeah] as the anwser. That aso means "нет" but it's grammatically wrong. But still some russian people can answer "неа" in some situations.

The pronunciation is "nyet". It's written with three letters that correspond to N + E + T, but the E letter is often pronounced as "ye".

I don't speak Russian but the thing I have heard, in movies and TV is 'nyet'. Maybe it varies and there might be different pronunciations in different areas of the country.
