Phonetic translations for Russian words?

Question by Turtle: Where online would I find phonetic translations for Russian words?
I’m trying to find a site where I can get the phonetic translation for Russian words, going from English to Russian. I know there are sites that will translate it into the Russian words/symbols…but I’d like to see it in English letters. Can anyone help me out?

There is no such thing. All translation services produce English–> Russian translation THE SAME way they do say English->Greek or English–>Polish or English—>Italian:

the result is presented using __that language’s ALPHABET___ (how else???)

Moreover, even if someone who knows Russian will try to manually prepare ‘same word using English letters’ it will NOT really be “same word”:

English alphabet is different from Russian or Polish or Greek alphabet and _therefore_ it is NOT possible to adequately/correctly present a Russian word using _English_ alphabet.

There should be a website where one could enter the title of a russian song on youtube, where the title is displayed in english, not cyrillic letters, e.g. 'belaja gvardia', 'ogonek', 'temnoje noch', and get the english translation.

Look for phonetic transcription in IPA symbols ( if available)
