Yes, I knew he died of heart failure on August 3rd. He indeed had a brilliant mind but he was also relentless in fighting for the truth to be revealed, and he fought so actively against tyranny. Nothing made him back down from getting the truth out. It cost him dearly. Many say that he was instrumental in the collapse of the Soviet Union.
