Question by Joe S: What will happen now that Russia has warships and Nuclear subs at the North Pole?
Russia has an entire fleet of ships, subs, nuclear weapons cruisers and aircraft carriers stationed at the north pole. They are laying claim to the vast oil and natural gas reserves there. They have even planted a flag on the sea bed. Are we about to go to war?

Canada will deal with them if they really have to. With Canada's money to quickly build up large Navy (a mini America remember) and America/NATO backing them – the Russians won't fare very well there.

Hopefully they will drill a hole in the ice cap and pump sea water through it. This could reverse the effects of sea level rise due to global warming.

They always had a military presence there. So what's new?

No, Russia has always had a large naval presence in the Arctic Ocean, and the claims on the north pole will be resolved through diplomatic means. Canada has also stacked a claim, so it's really more the Canadians that are dealing with Russia than us.

Just as soon as you get drafted. The Russian dumbasses sen an exploration ship into the ice pack. It got stuck.
