Question by Weston O: Where can I find scene suggestions for Chekhov plays?
I need to select a scene for an acting class. Something with male/male or male/female would be great.

Try something from The Three Sisters. There are many good scenes from which to choose. Excellent for scene study class.

You can hardly go wrong with Chekhov. If you merely browse the four major plays, you'll find several useful scenes. I recommend the following:
Anya/Trofimov from "The Cherry Orchard."
Nina/Treplev from "The Seagull"
Trigorin/Arkadina from "The Seagull"
Nina/Trigorin from "The Seagull"
Masha/Vershinin from "The Three Sisters"

The Seagull has great duet scenes….

Three Sisters is good. You might also check out "The Seagull." There is a scene in which Chekhov blasts traditional, formulaic play writing of the day. There are a couple of good male / male & male / female scenes.
