Should the United States be concerned?

Question by Talia: Should the United States be concerned regarding the rise of Russia?
Today, Putin seems to be making gains toward that goal of establishing Russia as a power to be respected and feared; a power that wants a say in what happens in the rest of the world. Russia is teaming up with Venezuela, making military advances. Should the US be concerned?

I think the U.S should realize that everyone is sick of their American supremacist, lemme-show-you-how-we-do-it shtick. If Russia is become more powerful, then so be it. Why does America have to look at everything as a war opportunity?
