There are MANY similarities. I won’t list them all, as there are too many. But basically, Animal Farm was written ABOUT the Russian Revolution. They are guided by a philosophy, overthrow the leader, form an idealistic government, then get corrupted. There’s so much more than this, but read the sparknote for animal farm. Under characters, they have all the symbolism.
