Question by ♥Jo♥: What were some of Nicholas II Tsar of Russia’s hobbies or interests?
By the way the Tsar I mean is the one that was killed in the Russian Revolution.

seems the thing he was devoted to most was his wife. even when he was with his men on the front,
he felt he had to get back to his sunny…so he could be told what to do.
too bad the family just wasn’t sent out in exile. there was really no reason to murder them all including devoted servants and their doctor.
and then the country ends up with stalin…still can’t understand how that changed anything. just new people at the top of the food chain, and the same people at the bottom.

He collected stamps, a hobby also of his cousin George V of Great Britain. He also hunted, like his cousin did. He also liked taking snapshots of his family and pasting them into photo albums. I don't know if yachting was a personal interest, or something one did as Tsar to get from Russia to Poland or the Crimea, but he did have a Royal Yacht – the Standart.
