the czarina’s son, Alexei, suffered from a condition known a haemophilia, a condition where the blood does not clot properly. Therefor when the child fell from a horse what would have normally been a bruise threatend his life because the internal bleeding would not stop. The czarina brought in doctors and healers from all over the country the last of which being Rasputin. He told The Czarina to keep the doctors away from him. Some think this is the reason for his recovery, that his body simply recovered naturaly, especially considering the medical technology at the time. Whatever the cause was Alexei began to get well again thus garunteing Rasputins seat as the healer to the royal family.
Now with his seat in the royal household he engaged in unrestrained sexual acts including raping a nun. He became a contreversary and his acts were used against the royal family during the revolution.
His death was interesting rasputin was stabbed with entrails hanging out and he recovered. he was poisoned with cyanide shot 4 times clubbed and thrown in ice cold water after all this the cause of death….hypothermia
