The USSR was composed entirely of not only (Russian), but 14 countries all tied into the Soviet Union.
(Russian) (Ukraine) (Uzbekistan) (Kazakhastan) (Belarus) (Azerbaijan) (Georgia) (Tajikistan) (Moldova) (Lithuania) (Turkmenistan) (Armenia) (Latvia) (Estonia)
The USSR (Soviet Union) was first established in December of 1922 between (Russian) (Ukraine) (Belarus) and had a total of 14 countries by the year 1940.
The USSR (as you know) was a communist country in which all property is owned by the government, government also owns the means of production, and there is a classless society.
A communistic government is usually able to make any type of law in an unorthodox manner (whether it be charging someone with false crimes, silencing anyone who doesn’t abide by the law, or even laws that allow the government to make any sudden changes of the ‘working class’ population. The ‘working class’ in this case would include most of the total population in a communist country, not considering political, military, or governmental figures.
(Communism = Bad)
THE NEW RUSSIA:
Russia no longer controls any country by means of communism, they have their own political party
Today, Russian is indeed a Republic, but still yields a few negative and post-soviet contributions.
Russia has:
>Universal Health Care.
>Strong business ties with Iran.
>Has a high rate of crime.
>Still owns a large stockpile of nuclear and ballistic missiles.
>Has the largest amount of tanks in the world.
>Has a draft (Conscription)
